The humanity can not
forget that the Maya civilization disappeared from the face of the earth,
because it exhausted its natural resources and its forests, died primarily by
lack of water. How can we explain that in the XXI in the Age of Knowledge and
Information, the man insists century today with the degradation and devastation
of the environment.
Here in Brazil the
Amazon rainforest was destroyed in 5,891 km2, in 2013, by the greed of the
illegal trade in timber, planting of soybean monoculture and cattle pasture for
livestock. Today in Amazon Forest have today 30.000 fires in its most criminals.
Unfortunately this
occurs daily in Brazil and governments do little to prevent this tragedy
against Nature and biodiversity of our forest, which was once considered the
Lung of the World, today cries for help and the overthrow of the forest affects
the cycle of rains in South and Southeast region of the country that also its
rivers are being killed by drought and more than 40 million people do not have
daily access to the liquid that sustains life.
Something bold needs to be done, we have to follow the advice of James Cameron, who says in favor of the Environment and Sustainability must raise our heads and raise our voices against the inaction of the rulers, and now in the Forum to Climate in NYC, now Ambassador Sustainability Leonardo DiCaprio said that humanity can not treat climate change as fiction is rather a reality.
Quotes though now we can not be more spectators, but protagonists of the great change that the world needs in relation to the Environment, the Water and Rivers worldwide.

neutralization of CO2, the millions of planes and big ships sail the seven
seas.
We struggled every day, an endless struggle, we have achieved by joining Twitter abroad, here in Brazil it has been difficult to show the newspapers, magazines and television, our cause is now Planetary Rainforest, by Urban Trees as the only way to combat air pollution caused by CO2, against plastic pollution in the oceans, sending messages to large shipping companies.

critical to avoid this tragedy, as happened with the Mayan Civilization.
